Although we strive to respond to every candidate, due to the popularity of our roles this is sometimes not achievable. If you do not hear back from us within 14 days of your application (unless a longer closing date is specified on the advert itself) then regrettably you have not been successful.
If you are selected to be shortlisted, you will receive either an email or telephone call from the Hiring Manager to arrange an interview. The interview process usually consists of one formal face to face (either in person or via video call) interview, but there may be more than one interview depending on the role you have applied for. Following the interview you will be advised if you have been successful or unsuccessful.
Yes. If you will be working in a School, we must carry out an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check in order to assess your suitability. This is an online check which checks your criminal record including spent & unspent convictions, cautions, the children’s barred list and any information held by local police that’s considered relevant to the role.

I joined Dolce 11 years ago as a cook/trainer. Over the years I have worked on many different areas and have been lucky enough to be in sales presentations. My new role as Quality Assurance Manager was then formed and I now work alongside some fantastic people who are now taking Dolce to the next level from our brilliant sales and marketing team, development chefs but most of all the great people who work for us tirelessly in our kitchens, our mobile staff and Area Managers. I am very proud to work for Dolce because at the heart of this family is the need and desire to make the children of this country fed well and happy, that is what it is all about. Working for Dolce has jump started my career in HR, and the development opportunities I've been offered have been amazing. Not to mention, it's such a pleasure working alongside all of our fantastic teams, whether that's in the kitchens, or in the offices, as Dolce is like one large family.
In the five years that I have worked for Dolce I've been made to feel part of a big family. I love working within such a big caring team of like minded individuals working towards the same goal of providing wholesome nutritional meals to children from all walks of life. I get a great buzz from knowing that I am helping some children and possibly brightening their day with a great meal and in some cases maybe the only hot good quality meal they might get that day. I joined Dolce as an apprentice and have to say my whole life has changed thanks to the opportunities this company has afforded me. Everyone who works for Dolce is down to earth and there's a real sense of community. I love my role and I've found that no two days are the same.
