A Long-Awaited Wedding Day!
Alison Price is getting married!

Alison is a member of our Dolce Schools Catering team, and is a General Catering Assistant at Alumwell Junior School. She met her partner in a mutual group of friends: “I had seen her a couple of times, only this one time I did make the first move and kissed her in taxi on the way home. We have been together ever since, so 5 years now” She has been the best support and life partner ever since they got together; loving and caring for Alison and her children. They have been looking forward to getting married for over a year now.
Facing Difficulties
Unfortunately, Alison had to postpone her wedding 3 times due to the pandemic. Each time it was a difficult decision. It increased the pressure on the couple and the guests that had already planned to join the celebration. Furthermore, Alison’s mother was fighting for her life, having her surgery postponed for the same reason. It was most important to ensure that Alison’s mother witnessed her daughter getting married to the love of her life.
The Wedding Is Finally Happening!
After going back and forth with the wedding, it is now finally taking place on the 30th of October, 2021! Alison has shared her joy and happiness of finally being certain that it will happen. Her mother will also be there to see the wedding. In addition, they were also able to invite their extended family, which would have been impossible to do during the lockdowns.
She also added: “The other thing I am really looking forward to is wearing my dress and finally marrying my partner.” We are very excited for her!
