For most of us, the holidays tend to sneak up without much warning and suddenly you’re at home for a week or two with little ones who crave attention and entertainment. Let Dolce’s easy Easter recipes come to the rescue with some delicious food ideas and quality activity-time suggestions to enjoy with the kids.

Traditionally in the UK, lamb forms the centrepiece of an Easter meal and there’s sure to be a whole host of splendid roast dinners being prepared over the holiday. Alternatively, we are quite aware that the modern lifestyle doesn’t often allow for the large demand on time and effort needed to produce these meals. So we’ve opted to share an easy to make recipe featuring lamb or alternatively, a vegetarian dish that pairs really well with the spring season.
Diced lamb – 400 g/14 oz
White Ware Potatoes – 200 g/7 oz
Carrots – 200 g/7 oz
Onions – 80 g/3 oz
Bouillon (Vegetable) – 10 g/0.4 oz
Water – 120 ml/4.2 fl oz
Oil (vegetable) – 8 ml/0.3 fl oz
Cornflour – 6 g/0.2 oz
Plain Flour – 200 g/7 oz
Margarine – 80 g/3 oz
Baking Powder – 10 g/0.4 oz
Eggs x 8
Mixed Herbs – 1 g
Garden Peas – 48 g/2 oz
Grated Cheese – 160 g/6 oz
Garlic Powder – 2 g/0.1 oz
Courgettes – 40 g/1 oz
Onions – 40 g/1 oz
